Since 1984, AIDES has been doing everything possible to support people affected by HIV, to contain the epidemic and to eradicate AIDS. Great victories have been achieved, but much remains to be done: each year 6,500 new cases are diagnosed in our country and 25,000 people carry the virus without knowing it.
