The NGO Entrepreneurs du Monde accompanies very poor people in entrepreneurship in Africa, Asia, Haiti and France to make entrepreneurship a lever for integration and empowerment accessible to all. When salaried employment is rare or difficult to access, entrepreneurship is a solution for generating income. But to do so, you need capital, knowledge in business management and self-confidence. All of which the poor do not have. Entrepreneurs of the World offers them micro-credits, training and personalized follow-up in case of difficulty. This comprehensive support enables vulnerable people to successfully undertake their own business, generate income and improve the living conditions of their families. Entrepreneurs of the World also supports poor populations who are already victims of climate change, particularly farmers, to enable them to adapt. Created in 1998, the French association has been awarded the Don en Confiance label. In 2020, it supported 110,000 micro-entrepreneurs, 88% of whom were women, in 9 countries.
